Combined wind and rain monitoring
The WRS-S provides wind and rain inputs for automated windows, louvres and natural ventilation systems. Its wind switching threshold is adjustable from 1 m/s to 30 m/s by DIP switch, allowing the weather response to be matched to the project operating sequence.
The heated rain-sensing area supports reliable rain detection. Wind and rain signals are each retained for approximately five minutes.
Key functions
- combined wind and rain sensing;
- wind threshold adjustable from 1 m/s to 30 m/s;
- approximately five-minute wind-signal retention;
- approximately five-minute rain-signal retention;
- heated sensor area; and
- mast and wall mounting included.

System integration and selection
Use the WRS-S where the selected D+H control arrangement requires both wind and rain signals. The control panel, programmed logic, available operating power and connected drives determine how windows or louvres respond when either threshold is reached.
Wind threshold, mounting position, cabling, signal inputs, override priorities and the required weather response must be coordinated as part of the complete control-system design.
EBSA New Zealand support
EBSA NZ can coordinate the WRS-S with compatible control panels, window or louvre drives, field wiring and the required operating sequence.
