• DDS 54 drive is a specialised actuator in the D+H range, uniquely designed for automated door opening primarily used as a “Fresh Air Intake”
• Drive is suited to opening single swing leaf doors up to a full 90° angle, ensuring maximum clear passage for ventilation.
• DDS 54 high strength side stable chain allows for a significant pushing force of 500 N combating against wind pressure or heavy door hardware.
• Supplied with a comprehensive bracket set suitable for mounting on the frame or the door leaf, accommodating the wide variety of commercial aluminium door suites found in New Zealand.
• A critical safety feature for the New Zealand market is the drive is designed that the door always remains operable by hand. Occupants can push the door open manually in an emergency without being blocked by the motor
• Electronic lock interface is Included to control outputs for on site electronic door releases (e.g. magnetic locks or electric strikes), ensuring the door unlocks automatically the moment the drive is activated.
• Can be integrated into the building management system to coordinate door openings with roof mounted fans or vents for balanced “cross-flow” ventilation.
• Encased in a robust, powder-coated aluminium housing with a stainless steel chain, making it durable for New Zealand’s coastal environments and high traffic commercial routes.
